Academy 8S option
The Academy 8S software option allows using any slomo.tv replay or video-refereeing server in training mode emulating work with real video sources. The recorded footage can be played back internally with the only limitation: the system does not provide video to the SDI video outputs. In emulation mode, the played back training video channels are displayed in the Multiviewer's windows. The workflow is similar to working with live incoming video signals: the trainee can search on the video channels and play them back as if real signals were being fed to the server.
The Academy 8S option supports work with a maximum of 8 recorded channels and can be installed on the existing slomo.tv server. There is no need to purchase a separate server to use it.
Academy server vs Academy 8S option
A separate Academy server plays training material emulating live cameras, and outputs signals to the server’s SDI video outputs. By connecting Academy signals to slomo.tv or third-party replay servers, it is possible to provide parallel training of more than one specialist, organizing several workplaces at the same time.
The Academy's SDI signals can be used to display Multiviewer, Main camera, etc.
The Academy 8S option runs on the same server on which the training is performed. The video is displayed only on the monitors connected to the server. There are no video signals to the SDI outputs.
