SLOMO.TV

Pioneer of software-defined replay servers.

Over 15 years of building on standard server components for flexibility and scalability.

Architecture and solutions

SLOMO.TV is a pioneer of software-defined replay servers. We've been developing our software and hardware systems for over 15 years, building on standard server components to ensure flexibility and scalability.

DMR™ (Direct Movie Record) patented – a patented solution by SLOMO.TV. DMR™ creates growing files (Apple ProRes, DNxHD, AVC-Intra) directly on removable drives or in a NAS/SAN in parallel with recording to the internal array. NLE can be started immediately, with no need for transcoding or export steps.

Control-ZR is a dedicated control panel designed for direct access and search across 24 recorded channels simultaneously from a single console.

Video refereeing / VAR

videoReferee®

History First deployed at the 2007 Ice Hockey World Championship. The concept is the foundation of all our systems.
Channel density (4U) Up to 32 channels of 3G (or 4K/UHD) in a single compact 4U chassis.
Independent workstations Up to 4 independent workstations in a single 4U server; specialized football configurations support 6–8 workstations.
Remote workstations / VAR Center Native support for remote video refereeing stations via public Internet, enabling lightweight deployment of centralized VAR Centers.
Referee interface (touch & gestures) Wireless tablet/touch-based stations with a gesture interface (intuitive to smartphone users) for instant onboarding and minimal training.

Performance and economics

Speed and native UI

The built-in MultiViewer enables direct search across all channels, allowing a single SLOMO.TV system operator to confidently manage a large number of cameras. This reduces the required number of replay operators on-site by 2 times or more.

Total cost of ownership

SLOMO.TV offers low cost per channel and budget-friendly base package of options, including built-in NLE recording features (DMR™).

Training and entry barrier

A public library of detailed video tutorials and interactive materials enables operators and referee teams to master SLOMO.TV systems in a very short time, bypassing the need for expensive vendor training.
