SafeGuard – Compact server backup recording!
The SafeGuard records in a loop 8 channel SD/HD SDI video with broadcast quality.
It can export recorded video in native NLE files in full resolution and as Proxy. Export can be carried out by the server software after recording stopped.
During recording export can be done by using Mediateka XCoder, working on another SLOMO.TV server.
In this case transcoding can be performed in any standard codec supported by that server.
Also, Safeguard recording can be started and stopped from another SLOMO.TV server on the network.

Key features of SafeGuard
- Storage is based on SSD. This allows it to operate in extremely harsh conditions, including at a high level of vibration.
- Built-in multiviewer controls all input signals. Multiviewer can be displayed on a separate HDMI™ monitor or operator can use one monitor and switch between main interface and multiviewer.
- Dual GbE interface for NAS recording and efficient use of recorded material by non-linear editing systems. It extends the use of SDX not only as a mobile stand-alone recorder, but also as part of a studio production.
- Scaling of input HD video to SD or lower resolution for use as Low-res Proxy. Allow to use SafeGuard for remote video production via Internet.
- LTC support. Enables synchronization of recorded video files with video and audio recorded on other equipment.
- High-speed export. For high speed export using Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) for Ethernet, defined in IEEE 802.1ax or the previous IEEE 802.3ad.
