Up to 8 Full HD cameras
The referees make decisions based on the recording of up to 8 cameras. The system provides the ability to analyze the controversial moment synchronously from several cameras, frame-by-frame or in slow motion. If necessary, the video image can be magnified (zoomed in). The users are able to create different presets from available cameras.
Work with non-synchronous video sources
videoReferee® can be used with cameras without external synchronization. Specialized technology, developed by Slomo.tv, allows synchronizing video streams from non-synchronous cameras when analyzing controversial moments.
To achieve absolute synchronicity, the videoReferee® system can be equipped with specialized referee cameras mini-II-vR-Cam with support of cloud synchronization technology (CloudyGenlock®).
Comfortable and quick analysis of controversial moments
videoReferee®-B systems have all the necessary functions for comfortable refereeing: a convenient and high-performance interface for quick preparation of video material, ability to review of the controversial moment from 1, 2, 3, 4 cameras simultaneously, integration with the most popular scoreboard controllers, event marking and synchronous search on recorded material.
Event marking
Events can be marked live or on recorded video. Events are instantly available for review. When an event is created, the system remembers the currently active channel, and when returning to this event starts with the same view. Marked events are also used to create video reports with controversial game moments.
Workplaces
The system has two video outputs for connecting an engineering and a referee monitors. The engineering interface contains a Multiviewer of all input channels, event list, a miniature of the referee's monitor and referee's control interface. If required by the Technical regulations of the League or competition, the referee output can be provided to the review monitor on the edge of the field.
Thanks to the proprietary MultiSkin technology, both interfaces can be displayed (switched) on a single monitor.
Field browsing mode
Since it is necessary to analyze as many movement phases as possible when reviewing a controversial moment, Slomo.tv has developed a technology that makes it possible to browse not only through the frames, but also through the fields of recorded video. Even when using interlaced video cameras, this technology increases the number of "clearly visible" motion phases by 2 times: 50/60.
Specialized control panel Control-VR
The system is supplied with one of the specialized control panels: new-generation controller Control-VR with advanced functionality. Control-VR provide instant access to all cameras, presets and most of the functions.
The user-friendly new-generation Control-VR panel is equipped with 35 RGB backlit buttons and a proprietary Jog/Shuttle for positioning on recorded video and playback control. The controller is connected via RS-232 / RS-485 / USB / Ethernet.
Integration with scoreboard controllers
Slomo.tv systems are integrated with a large number of frequently used match controllers. Official game information - teams, time, score - is displayed in each video channel and updated in real time.
This allows all timing and validity issues (e.g., the 24-second rule in basketball) to be resolved without error.
Currently, the system supports the following widely used scoreboard controllers: Westerstrand, Nautronic NTpult, Nautronic NAUCON-1000, Bodet, Omega Saturn, Megalux, NataInfo, Victory, VITA, Araneus-Nglight, ElTablo, Stramatel, Colosseo, CEDR, Favero Console-700.
Export of video material to external media
The system records signals from all cameras on the built-in disk array. After the end of the match, all the recorded material or only clips containing the selected moments can be exported in H.264 format to an alienated digital media for submission to the League's office for further analysis. When exporting, official game information (time, score, period) is displayed on each channel.
Specialized mini-II-vR-Cam cameras
The video refereeing system can be equipped with 3G/HD mini-II-vR-Cam compact cameras manufactured by Slomo.tv for the video-refereeing tasks.
Mini-II-vR-Cams are available in 2 versions: wide-angle cameras with a 3x zoom lens and 10x zoom cameras.
