Gesture-based interface for referee’s monitor

Slomo.tv gesture interface works with intuitive gestures. With the usual Touch Screen interface, the user has to find the right object (button) and accurately touch it with a finger. The gesture-based interface does not require accurate touching of certain objects - the entire screen area is interactive.

If the screen is a large monitor at a VAR's workplace, the added challenge of using the Touch Screen interface is that the referee has to reach the controls on the screen with an outstretched hand. On the other hand, the gestures are preset and do not require a special overlay of controls.

For VAR systems, the gesture-based interface is preferable and more convenient.

It greatly speeds up and simplifies the video referee’s work with the system. Using the gesture interface, the referee performs all the necessary actions with simple and intuitive gestures: camera selection, search, display control (1/4 camera), zoom in/out, playback speed control.

RRA option: the SDI output of the referee’s interface

This option provides a separate SDI output for displaying the referee’s interface on the monitor at the Referee Review Area (RRA) in accordance with the regulations of the Leagues (e.g., FIFA, FINA, FIBA, etc.). The same output can be provided to the broadcaster. In this setup for confidential and secure review the output is activated only after pressing a special button. The picture changes from a still background to the video, prepared for review. Players, coaches and spectators do not see neither the preparation of the video material nor what the main referee sees.

Support for 3G-SDI (for videoReferee®-SR III systems)

Provides support for 10 3G-SDI recording channels. The option can be activated remotely.

Expansion of storage capacity

Servers can be ordered with an increased built-in storage capacity: up to 160 hours of Full HD video.

Redundant power supply

videoReferee®-SR can be equipped with a redundant power supply to ensure uninterrupted operation.
