As last year the company presented its products on several stands.

On the main stand (8B11) we introduced new additions to the popular Simple R family of 1U compact replay servers: a 10 channel Simple R 442 (4 SD/HD Inputs, 2 Outputs and simultaneous search on all 4 channels) and a new sports officiating system videoReferee®-SR (8-channel system in Simple R format with full functionality of the high-end 11-channel system).

We also showed the newest version of the wireless Full HD camera GoalNetCam. It is much smaller and has a new sensor with Image Stabilizer. The vR-Cam camera also has been modified. It is now Plug-N-Play and camera parameters can be configured in the built-in control panel.

A new software option for analyzing and highlighting events– Game Analyzer (Telestrator for drawing on video and graphics overlay) attracted a lot of attention of the visitors.
This option is available on all our servers and uses WACOM Clintiq 13HD or any touch screen monitor.

Broadcast Solutions GmbH on its stand (8A94) presented an attractive Super Motion bundle – Simple R 331 with Hitachi 1500 camera. In turn Hitachi chose Simple R 331 system for showing Super Motion instant replay on its own booth.

Unique feature of slomo.tv Super Motion system is expanded range of fixed replay speeds (33%, 66%, 100%, and 133%) and the ability to smoothly change the speed in the range from -66 to 133%. It should be noted that slomo.tv supports other Super Motion video cameras such as Sony HDC 3300 and Grass Valley LDK 8300.

Once again slomo.tv demonstrated that its systems user friendly interface with built-in MultiViewer, ability to search on all recording channels simultaneously, superior clip management, DMR™ technology, available options and use of fast and reliable SSD storage, proved very attractive to broadcast professionals.

In August slomo.tv products were presented at Beijing International Radio, TV & Film Equipment Exhibition (BIRTV).

At the booth of GRUS Technology Co guests could see the world’s most compact multi-channel recording system with slow motion - Simple R 331. This SSD storage based device can operate in the most extreme conditions and is ideal for small mobile applications.

An 8-channel system provides simultaneously: 3 recording video channels, high-speed full-frame search on all 3 recorded channels and playback of 2 channels with transition effects between them.

The system utilizes industry-proven codecs DVCPro 50 / DVCPro HD and provides storage capacity of 33 hours in Full HD or 65 hours of broadcast quality SD video.

Simple DMR™ Recorder.

This is a single channel replay system with built-in DMR™ technology, allowing simultaneously with replays carry on recording of files in NLE native formats (MXF DVCPro 50/HD for Avid; QuickTime DVCPro 50/HD for Apple Final Cut, Adobe Premiere CS, Canopus Edius).

For maximum possible quality Simple DMR™ Recorder can use Apple ProRes 422(HQ/SQ) codec.

SD proxy recording while recording Full HD video is a feature of all our servers with DMR™ support.

Another feature of the Simple DMR™ Recorder, inherent to any server that supports DMR™, is SD proxy recording while recording Full HD video. Location of Proxy and Full HD recorded files can be different. DMR™ files can be written to a Spin Drive or SSD. Available connections: eSATA, USB 3.0/USB 2.0, DMR™ SSD port.

Any Network File Locations from simple network shared directory to dedicated NAS connected via 1GbE can also be used.

This flexibility allows implementation of different scenarios – from passing the HDD or SSD to NLE station, to remote editing in case of writing to shared storage.

Along its traditional system videoReferee^® with wireless GoalNetCam and vR-Cam, the company demonstrated the most compact instant replay system in the world - Simple R 331 and its full-size "big brother" Dominator AT with DMR ™ technology.

In industry terms Simple R is an 8-channel system. It provides simultaneously: 3 recording video channels, high-speed full-frame search on all 3 recorded channels and playback of 2 channels with transition effects between them.

Dominator AT records 6 channels and offers a new level of integration into a complex broadcast or video editing environment. It can be connected via two 10GbE and two 1GbE channels to network attached storage (NAS) or directly to storage area network (SAN), using built-in 4G fibre channel interface.

Direct Movie Recording (DMR™) supports NLE native formats (MXF DVCPro 50/HD for Avid; QuickTime DVCPro 50/HD for Apple Final Cut, Adobe Premiere CS, Canopus Edius and for maximum quality - Apple Prores 422(HQ/SQ). It also provides SD proxy recording while recording Full HD.

Visitors were able to see the entire process of recording into native formats of NLE systems and immediate editing of removable DMR™ cassettes.

To promote its DMR™ technology the company decided from now on to include a free single channel Simple DMR™ Recorder in all its servers.

On March 12 to 14th Slomo.tv had its debut on the most important broadcast fair in Middle East and North Africa – the CABSAT show.

Simple R and videoReferee® were shown at Oasis' stand. The interest of the visitors had been extraordinary, almost all major TV-Stations of the Middle East wanted to know more about the systems and asked for demo-devices to test them.

At Broadcast Solutions booth visitors had the chance to see Simple R integrated in a "Dessert OB-Van". "Due its shock-resistant SSD Drives and its tiny dimenttions Simple R is the perfect solution not just for this off-road OB-Van" said Stefan Breder, CEO of Broadcast Solutions.

In 2011 in Netherlands Talpa Media Group with great success launched a television show "The Voice of Holland" (also known as TVOH). In the same year, "The Voice" appeared with resounding success in 18 countries around the world.

The First Channel in Russia aired this musical show from October 5 to December 29 of 2012 and "The Voice" has broken all rating records. The Russian version of the "Voice" was produced by one of the biggest television production company on the market, Technostyle Technology, which is a part of the "Red Square" holding company. The last three shows were broadcast live. Like the vast majority of all shows for Channel One, "The Voice" was produced on slomo.tv’s tapeless technology equipment. Recording of 24 channels HD video and SD proxy was done on three slomo.tv servers Dominator AT/HD.

Slomo.tv took part in NATEXPO-2012, which was held from November 6 to 8 at the All-Russia Exhibition Center.

The project «NATEXPO», created by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAT) with the direct participation of the largest Russian companies working in the field of television and radio, is supported by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, in partnership with the U.S. National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).

Along with the most advanced video-goal system for sport video adjudication videoReferee^®IIM2, visitors had a chance to see the line of AT (Advanced Technology) products representing the next step in the development of full-range (4U) full-featured multichannel recording for direct editing and slow motion replay systems - Dominator AT and BlackJack AT/12.

A special event at this year's NATEXPO, was a demonstration for the first time in the Russian market of Simple R - the world's most compact solution for instant slow motion replays and multichannel recording in SD / HD.
